Temperament & Personality

Iggy is a beautiful girl with a gentle soul who has sadly experienced the worst side of human behaviour. After being abandoned in an industrial waste bin and left for three days, left to die she was unbelievably underweight, she understandably takes time to trust new people. Iggy can be wary when first meeting strangers, but with patience, kindness and understanding she gradually begins to let her guard down.

Once Iggy forms a bond, she is incredibly loving, loyal and affectionate. Those who know her well have seen just how beautiful she is both inside and out. Building a relationship with Iggy takes time, but the reward of earning her trust is truly special.

Behaviour & Suitability

• Requires multiple visits prior to adoption to build trust.

• Would suit a quiet, calm and patient household.

• Must be the only dog in the home,  although she is good with other dogs we  feel her bond with her human would be    better with out distraction

• Not suitable for homes with children.

• Would benefit from experienced owners who understand nervous or fearful dogs.

• Forms strong bonds with people once she feels safe and secure.
